I got into programming the same exact way, except for me it was on the Commodore 64. I translated quite a few CYOA books into a C-64 program.

Easy, msdn forums is an obsession right now: http://forums.microsoft.com/Forums/TopAnswerers.aspx?SiteID=1. Although it is fadeing. Wcf is still an on going obsession too. I am currently thinking about what my next obsession should be.
